First of all, sorry for the lack of updates from me but their was really no news to update you on for the last two weeks. Esmée is back in Europe after spending a few weeks in the USA (New York & Miami) to promote the ‘Get Breast Cancer Outta Here‘ as spokeswoman and model of B.Btempt’d. She also returned to the studio to write and record new music for her second album.

She flew back to the Netherlands after spending about a week in Miami to surprise one of her biggest fans. Esmée is part of the Make a Wish foundation and surprised a little girl and her class mates. The Make A Wish foundation is one of my favorite foundations out there, it’s such a good cause and I am really happy and proud Esmée is a part of it.

She is currently back in London to promote B.Tempt’d and their ‘Get Breast Cancer Outta Here‘ campaign because the brand is now released in the UK stores. After London she will go to Malaysia but I am not sure what she is going to do there. Added one new twitter personal photo in our gallery of Esmée being goofy on the beach.

On september 17th was the Shooting Stars Benefit Gala hosted by Samuel L Jackson and Scarlett Johansson to raise money for Red Cross and the Samuel L Jackson Foundation. We finally have the first photo of Esmée during the event, she was the performance of the evening, with Samuel L Jackson. She looks really stunning! Hopefully more photos can be added soon.

A interview from 2009 was uploaded online of Esmée with Boogie, a tv show from Denmark. She gave us a little preview in the dutch magazine Hitkrant with a behind the scenes photo. But now we can see the full interview, can not believe how much she changed. She looks so young, but I think it’s a great interview. As we updated before Esmée did a collaboration with a UK rapper, after weeks of speculations we can finally officially confirm it’s Aggro Santos (Yuri Santos) who is UK hottest new and rising artist. His debut album AggroSantos.com is expected to be release January 2010 and you may know him from his collaboration with Pussycatdoll Kimberly Wyatt and their hit single ‘Candy‘ or his second single ‘Saint or Sinner‘. Esmée recorded the song while she was in Sweden and in late september she confirmed the single will be out in about a month so we can expect it any time soon. The single is called “Do You Believe” and it’s the 3th official single of Aggro Santos and it will be featured on his debut album. BBM Live did an interview with him, and you can read the part about their collaboration below:

Have you worked with anyone particularly interesting on the new album?
I have done a few collabs, [but] didn’t want to over do it. Esmee Denters features on a song called ‘Do You Believe‘ she is a great singer.

Update: So according to his tweets “Do You Believe” is not going to be his 3th single. But he is going to release his 3th single before the end of this year. So I am not sure this is the collaboration Esmée talked about before? But I think it’s most likely it is but they changed the plans. Hopefully it will be released as single, would love to see a new music video with Esmée!

If you follow Esmée via twitter @esmeeworld you know she is currently in sunny Miami to write new music, most likely for her next album, after spending a few days in New York to promote her debut album and B.Tempt’d campaign: ‘Get Breast Cancer Outta Here‘. After Miami is going to London & Malaysia, I think to write more music (Let’s hope so!).

This is kind of off-topic, but I find it really important to post this. Well I updated before how you can help the ‘Fight for Cure Campaign‘ of Susan G. Komen and help Esmée and B.Tempt’d with their campagin: ‘Get Breast Cancer Outta Here‘.

Just came across a story of an artist/photographer I admire for quite some time now: Emily Tebbetts is going bald to raise money for the Susan G. Komen foundation and she is donation her locks to Locks of Love. Her main reason is because her mom has battled breast cancer for the past 10 years and it’s important donations are made for new medications and a cure for (breast)cancer. It’s not my intention to force you into donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation Foundation or you the Emily Goes Bald project but I find it so important that the awareness and fight against (breast) cancer excist.
