I will try to keep you guys up-to-date and catch up with a few missing updates this week. Again, I am sorry for the lack of updates.

First of all we want to congratulate Esmée, because today is her 23th birthday. Happy Birthday Esmée, we hope you will have an amazing day with your family and friends! As you have noticed we have a brand new layout to celebrate Esmée’s birthday. We think it’s one of our best, maybe even our best one yet. We used one of our favorite photoshoots taken by Stephanie Pistel for “Outta Here” because we realized we never actually used that one. The theme is designed by the talented Hillie. We are still working on some details but let us know what you think and if you find any errors.

We want to apologize again for the lack of updates, but we can inform you we are back and we will try to update you frequently with the latest on Esmée and her upcoming album “Screaming Out Loud“. We will catch up with some missing news, we already have a few messages in the draft, in the coming days. Esmée recently visited London Fashion Week and we added the latest twitpics and tumlbr photos to our gallery. We are still working behind the scenes by updating pages, adding more content etc.

Today is a big day in the ‘history’ of Esmée Denters Fans, because 4 years ago this site was launched, June 22nd, 2007. I can not believe it’s been already 4 years, I still maintain the site with as much fun as I did when I started it. Today we are the longest running, most complete and comprehensive source dedicated to the lovely Esmée Denters. Stay tuned because in the next few months we are celebrating our anniversary with surprises.

The last 4 years were a-ma-zing for me, and I hope for you as well. We grow so much, and we are still your ever growing source for miss Denters. We can not wait for Esmée’s second album release and we hope we can celebrate our 8 year anniversary in four years.

I had planned a lot of surprises to celebrate our 4 year anniversary, but my personal life was so hectic the last few weeks/months that my plans had to change a bit. I am still working on the site content of the website and my aim is finish and complete it before Esmée’s second album release.

Some fun site facts: this site was founded and still maintained by me, Lindsey. We have over 555 news post, sadly we lost our early post when we switched host in 2009 and 89 information pages. Our lovely visitors made almost 22.000 comments so far. Our gallery has over 22.000 images and it’s growing almost daily.

We want to thank you, all our visitors. Without you this site wouldn’t even exist. You guys keep me motivated to keep running the fansite. Also a big thank you to the Tenmann Records family, it’s a honor to be the official fan editor at Esmée’s official website. And the most important person is of course Esmée; thank you for being the wonderful and talented person – in and outside – you are. Thank you for all the (Twitter) Shout-outs and your music.

To celebrate our new layout we added a brand new photoshoot in our gallery. If you follow us reguarly you already knew this shoot because it was used as an editorial in Now Magazine but thanks to our amazing friend Stephan we now have the photoshoot in our gallery. They are slightly tagged, but it’s still worth the watch.

We are currently still working on creating more and in-depth content for the site, if you keep an eye on our twitter @esmeefans we will update you with smaller updates and we will create a big update when we finish. First of all a very happy valentine everyone. A big amount of love, kisses and hugs to all our amazing vistors! Just wanted to thank you all for your on going support, without you this site wouldn’t be what it is today.

I know the updates come in slowly lately but Esmée is currently working on her second album, which is really exciting, but no big updates. School and my personal life are pretty much taking all my time, but I promise regular updates will come back soon. I am currently still working behind the scenes of the site with more content, so we are ready for the big summer that’s coming (with of course the release of Esmée’s second album, and her break through world wide). Thanks again for all your support.

For the last few weeks I have been working on the site content, still not done but the pages are still open for you to visit and read. I will let you know when I am completely done because at the moment the pages can still be changed. You can take a look at the information, career and website pages.

So, I teased you guys a bit with a little update via our twitter and the website on the new projects I’ve been working in right? Now I’m really proud to announce that one of the projects is so far done, that I decided to put it online: the dutch part of Esmée Denters Fans is ready for it’s grand opening. You may know, if you are a visitor from the start, that we started with a dutch/english fansite but when I changed host I decided to do only english. But I did notice a lot of the fans are dutch, and some of them are having a hart time following all the news in english.

I finally had the time to actually do it, make a dutch part for the fansite and I’m really glad my lovely host Fanfusion.org gave us a brandnew domain name. So from now on you can reach our english part via esmeefans.org, as always, and our dutch part via esmeedenters.org. You can also follow our dutch twitter account @esmeefansNL and if you haven’t followed our english twitter be sure you do @esmeefans.

A lot of information in one update right? Nothing really changes for most of you guys but I wanted to change the fact that Esmée didn’t have an up-to-date dutch fansite. I will keep you updated via this site, as always but I will also translate it for the dutch fans. Still working on translating all the content into dutch but the most important thing is getting it online. I’m currently still working on other new projects, so be sure to stay tuned. My goal is improving the site by giving it more and better content.
