So, I teased you guys a bit with a little update via our twitter and the website on the new projects I’ve been working in right? Now I’m really proud to announce that one of the projects is so far done, that I decided to put it online: the dutch part of Esmée Denters Fans is ready for it’s grand opening. You may know, if you are a visitor from the start, that we started with a dutch/english fansite but when I changed host I decided to do only english. But I did notice a lot of the fans are dutch, and some of them are having a hart time following all the news in english.

I finally had the time to actually do it, make a dutch part for the fansite and I’m really glad my lovely host Fanfusion.org gave us a brandnew domain name. So from now on you can reach our english part via esmeefans.org, as always, and our dutch part via esmeedenters.org. You can also follow our dutch twitter account @esmeefansNL and if you haven’t followed our english twitter be sure you do @esmeefans.

A lot of information in one update right? Nothing really changes for most of you guys but I wanted to change the fact that Esmée didn’t have an up-to-date dutch fansite. I will keep you updated via this site, as always but I will also translate it for the dutch fans. Still working on translating all the content into dutch but the most important thing is getting it online. I’m currently still working on other new projects, so be sure to stay tuned. My goal is improving the site by giving it more and better content.

Esmée is featured in lots of dutch magazines lately, she was gracing the cover of MusicMaker and Tina Magazine. Now the dutch Hitkrant published a brand new outtake of a photoshoot Esmée had for the magazine months ago. This is one of my favorite outtakes so far, she looks so stunning. I also added a scan of a little article wich was featured in the dutch Veronica on Esmée hosting her release party for her single ‘Love Dealer‘ in London. You can view the full set of photos (wich we added before) in our gallery as well.

Esmée is back in New York and she is currently on set of the photoshoot for the next campaign of B.Tempted, can’t wait to see the result of this photoshoot! I’m sure she will look beautifull as always. The fall 2010 campaign is currently released nation wide and a full page spread is featured in the Instyle and Glamour of the US. So be sure to check those magazines out!

I’m going away for one week to celebrate my holiday with my family. I will not be able to update for a week, I will return the 28th of this month. But keep checking back the site, because I have a little suprise planned for you! Ssst, it’s a secret ;) When I return I will update you on the news I missed, hopefully I will have lots of news to update you on.

We have a brand new layout online as you can see to celebrate our 3 Year Anniversairy wich was June 22th. Big thanks to the amazing Toni for the design! I truly love the layout, I think it’s the best layout yet of the site. Please let me know what you think! I’m not completely done with the layout: have to change some details and will add more sidebar content wich will be added in the next few days but for now enjoy this version and let me know if you have any troubles with the layout.

Exactly 3 years ago this fansite dedicated to Esmée Denters celebrated it’s Grand Opening and Esmée Denters Fans was born! Today is our 3 year anniversairy of the fansite and I can’t believe we made it this far, it’s so amazing to be the best, most updated and longest running fansite dedicated to the lovely Esmée Denters. I started it from the beginning: and now 3 years later we have the most exclusive and largest gallery of Esmée online as well as the most information and content dedicated to her and we are still growing daily.

It’s been an amazing journey for me, following Esmée from the very beginning of her career. I watched her youtube videos before the got discovered, a few months afterwards I decided to start the fansite. I thought it would be fun to follow Esmée and her career, because her story was like a fairytale.

A lot of people ask me: ‘Why did you start a fansite about Esmée before you knew what music she makes?’. Well, first of all when you see the first youtube videos of Esmée you can see how talented she is, I knew when I first saw the video she was going to make it far. Secondly I really love her personality, she is such a sweet girl who was really suprised with all the media attention but at the same time a real artist who knew what she wants: make her own music, her own album and share it with the world.

The last 3 years as a journey for Esmée, but also for me. It’s been amazing to follow Esmée her career so close, to meet the nicest people and fans in the world. I get so excited when I see how much Esmée has grown and she is still growing. But she stay Esmée: very humble but really, really talented.

I want to thank Esmée, for being the amazing person she is. I truly hope I can continue this fansite for her for years and years to come. I also want to thank YOU, all my amazing visitors for being the best fans in the world but also for being so supportive it’s so great to read all you lovely comments, tweets, e-mails etc.

Since I’m really bussy with school I didn’t have time to finish the layout I had planned to put online today to celebrate our 3 year anniversairy. You can watch the preview in the banner above, and believe me it’s the best layout yet! I hope I can put it online this weekend and I have more suprises planned for the next weeks to celebrate our anniversairy. But first things first, I want to finish my school year with good grades. Because I wanted to give you something to celebrate our anniversairy I decided to re-add a photoshoot I’ve added months ago. I had to remove it by request, but not it’s back.

Just a little update on the site for you today since we have troubles with commenting wich really sucks. As you may have noticed you can’t comment on the site right now. I try to fix it all day, but no luck so far. I contacted my host, so I hope it will be fxed soon. In the mean time I will keep you up-to-day, as always. So, I have been planning the fan project for Esmée for quite some time now. I did an attempt before, but it didn’t work out as I hoped. As you may know Esmée wrote a letter to her fans via her official website and I was really moved by her kind words. So I decided to finally start the fan project. I worked really hard on making the project happy and I’m proud to announce it’s done.

The project is called ‘Letters to Esmée’ and you can join the project if you want to. I started the project as a reply of the fans to Esmée’s wonderful letter. Since Esmée is a daily visitor of the fansite and she wrote she read all our comment I thought it would be a nice idea to write a letter to Esmée herself and show our support and dedication to Esmée. Some of you already joined the project via our forum and I inserted the messages from fans who joined the previous fanproject.

Sounds like fun? Head over to the ‘Letters to Esmée’ subsite and write your own letter, on the subsite you can find more information about the project. We have a total of 20 fanletters for Esmée but it would be so great if fans from around the world would join too! So write your letter to Esmée and join the project. I will make sure Esmée gets the link to the project, so she can read all the letters fans made for her.
