I’m so proud of Esmée right now because she got nominated for an Edison. You may not know this award, but it’s pretty big in Holland: it’s like the Grammy’s of the Netherlands and Esmée got a nomination alongside one of the greatest dutch artist. She got nominated for the ‘Veronica publieksprijs beste song‘ (The price decided by voters) wich means we can vote for Esmée. They nominated her debut hit single ‘Outta Here‘, wich peaked at #3 in the dutch charts and number #7 of the UK charts. If you are not dutch you can still vote, but be sure to read and follow the intruction below.

1. Go to the voting page of the Edisons 2010.
2. Select a random album below ‘Publieksprijs beste album’
3. Select Esmée ‘Outta Here‘ below ‘Veronica publieksprijs beste song’. Just tick the box next to Esmée’s cover art. You may have to scroll a bit.

Note: The album can be different when you visit the voting page, the order randomly changes.

4. Scroll down until the white box with ‘E-mail*’ above it and fill in your own e-mail.
5. Go to your mail box of the e-mail you filled in and open the one from info@edisons.nl with ‘Bevestig uw stem op [Random Album you selected] en Outta here (single)‘ as subject and click the link to confirm your vote.
6. Be sure to vote, and follow the same steps as above, with all your e-mail addresses: your work, school, personal, website, fansite etc. e-mails. And ask you parents, sister, brother, relatives, (new) classmates and friends to vote too.

Let’s Vote Everyone

I totally think Esmée deserves to win this award! So let’s make it happen, vote like crazy and let’s give Esmée her very own Edison Award. This edition of the Edisons is very special because they are celebrating their 50 year anniversairy.

Finally, the big day for the US fans was there: the official digital release of Esmée’s debut album ‘Outta Here’ in the US was on August 24th. You can buy the full album, and be sure you do!, on itunes. The full track list can be found below.

01. Love Dealer (ft. Justin Timberlake)
02. Outta Here
03. Admit It
04. Casanova (ft. Justin Timberlake)
05. Gravity
06. Getting Over You
07. What If
08. Memories Turn To Dust
09. Crazy Place
10. Sad Symphony

The track list is a little bit different than the one of the UK/the Netherlands. They left out “Victim“, “Bigger Than The World“, “The First Thing” and “Just Can’t Have It” and added the charity single “Crazy Place“. I’m a little bit sad that they left out one of the best songs of the album, but I think and hope they will release those songs on a deluxe edition or her second album! I’m not sure when the store release of the album is, but when I do you guys are the first to know!

You can watch the video vlog Esmée made below. She speaks about the digital release and she has some other good news: she will be adding more cover videos on her youtube channel. So be sure to stay tuned, we will update you as soon as the videos are posted. You can watch the screencaprtures of the video in our gallery.

The 4 year anniversairy for Esmée on youtube was while I was on vacation. As you may have noticed a post was made while I was away, but the day didn’t go by unnoticed for Esmée as well. She posted a brand new video vlog on her youtube account. It’s good to see she is using it again since that’s the way she started it all. You can watch the video below and the screencaptures can be found in our gallery. BTW the photoshoot she was talking about was for the Nina from Belgium.

So I’m (finally) back from my holiday, I have to say: I totally missed updating the site but I had a lovely vaction. A lot happened while I was gone, but I will update everything I missed today and tomorrow so you are up-to-date again. First of all great news on B.Tempted and the Fight for Cure campaign. Wacoal released a brand new video with Esmée speaking about Fi(gh)t for the Cure, the breast cancer awereness campaign were she is spokeswoman for. You can watch the video below and I’ve added the screencaptures in our gallery. For more information on Fight for Cure please visit Komen.org.

The spread for the campaign is currently featured in the Instyle, Glamour and Lucky of September 2010. Be sure to get an issue to support Esmée and buy something of B.Tempted or donate money for Fight for Cure since it’s a great cause. I’ve added a personal photo of Esmée with her spread in the Lucky in our gallery.

Esmée flew back to New York last week to do the photoshoot for the Spring campaign 2011 of B.Tempted. You can watch two behind the scenes photos in our gallery. Can’t wait to see the campaign!

Today is the 4th anniversary of our Esmée on youtube, just like last year I am on vacation but I didn’t want to miss this day for the world so thanks to my good friend Carmel (Check out her fansites as well!) I didn’t have to. She was so kind to put this draft post online today, because today is a big day for Esmée but also for us. Exactly four years ago Esmée made her very own youtube account and she posted her first cover recorded with her sisters webcam. She couldn’t dream or hope she would be signed to Justin Timberlake’s record Tennman records four year laters with a succesfull debut album in Europe. Her debut album is still waiting for it’s release in the US, wich will hopefully happen really soon.

I’ve been following Esmée since one of her first youtube videos, before the big media hype and started this fansite over 3 years ago. It’s been an amazing journey for me to watch her so closely, I even got to meet her last september at her very first concert. We have seen her grow, the fansite has grown so much since the start and her fanbase is still growing daily. Although I still love her first youtube cover I can’t believe how much she has grown since the start and she is still improving herself. I honestly can’t wait to see what the feature brings us.

I still love listening to all her youtube covers, it’s a shame she had to put a lot of them offline due to copyright issues. I really hope Esmée will keep adding new covers, vlogs or other videos to her youtube account because that’s the way she started. I say up to the next four years, with hopefully a next album and lots of new and exciting project. I know I will keep continue this fansite, because it’s a pleasure every time I update you.

So Esmée and the Tennmann Records team, if you read this: Congratulations with the four year anniversairy!

Yesterday was the official one year anniversairy for the UK release of Esmée’s “Outta Here“. Her debut single peaked in the UK Charts at numnber #7, her first top 10 UK hit. After the release of “Outta Here” follow the release of “Admit It” and in 2010 the release of her debut album , wich is also called “Outta Here“, and her latest release “Love Dealer“. Esmée has a big fan base in the UK wich has grown after her collaboration with the UK rapper Chipmunk. You can read the post that I made on August 17th over here.

Esmée is currently still in New York so I expect more news within the next days. Look out for the Youtube Anniversairy the 25th! The news is really slow the last few weeks, but I really hope that will change soon.
