Aggro Santos’ album AggroSantos.com released January 31st and with the release of the album the collaboration between Aggro Santos and Esmée released as well since “Do You Believe” is featured on the album.

During the Edisons Pop 2010 Esmée confirmed she was going to collaborate with a UK rapper, it’s now confirmed she was aiming to the collaboration with Aggros Santos. Well it suppose to be released as a single, but things changed – like always in the music industry – it could happen it will release as a single after the album release.

The song is featured on Aggros Santos album Aggrosantos.com which will be released 31 January, 2011. You can pre-order the album and song via Itunes and Amazon. Be sure to listen to the preview below:

You can listen to the full song via youtube, it’s a life performance of Aggro Santos during one of his performance. Esmée’s part is sang by another singer.

Star Magazine posted an article/interview with Esmée. She opened up about her still untitled second album – release is currently set for Summer 2011 – and B.Tempt’d. For some reason the article is removed from the site. But a blog Toya’s World quoted from the article.

Esmée is moving -temporarily- to London to work on her second album. You can read the quote below:

“I’m moving to London in January to finish the album. I really want to focus and make the album as perfect as it can be. London is one of my favourite cities and I have been inspired to write on many of my trips there. It will be a perfect place to let my imagination go wild, no boundaries on this album!”

Esmée sat down with Stylebible to talk about her B.Tempt’d campaign and her career. It is a really nice interview, they asked her some really interesting questions. The full interview is added in our press archive, a preview can be found below:

Do you come from a creative family, are they supportive of your career path?
Hugely supportive, and I guess I should thank my sister for that webcam! My Dad has always been into music and I grew up listening to a wide range of records. I think they’re quite proud.

Did he have ideas about what sort of artist you should become or did he give you complete freedom?
I made it really clear from the beginning that I wanted to write – that’s one of my biggest passions – and he totally understood that. So he and I listened to a lot of songs I had written and worked on some of them, worked on some new ones and that’s really how the album came about.

There are currently a lot of female artists doing extremely well at the moment but what do you think will attract people to your music, what sets you apart?
I guess my story is pretty cool. Because of the way it all started I have stayed connected to my fans – they brought me to where I am now so I’m on Twitter and social networks all the time to connect to them. I really appreciate their opinions and I hope they find my story inspirational.

What have you got planned for the rest of 2010 and 2011
Its time to work on my second album. I’m brainstorming and writing right now and I hope it will be really special.

In case you missed the live chat from a few days ago, here is a little re-cap. First of all the most exciting news: Esmée is currently working on her second album. She sees her debut album as a learning project and feels like she was really young when she wrote the songs. Now she has improved her songwriting skills and she knows what she wants. She needed to discover herself. The second album is going to be a pop album but more personal. She will be getting back to the studios in January of next year to really work and record new songs in London. The album will get a different vibe, and the said earlier it’s going to be a mixture: so with up-beat songs, but also ballads.

Some tracks are already finished, but remember for her debut album she recorded over 100 songs, so the finished tracks could end up not being used for the second album. Also keep checking her twitter, she might release a song before the actual release or a preview of song(s).

The met with the dutch DJ Tiesto a while ago and he showed her some tracks. She really hopes to work with him. If you follow Esmée on twitter you may know she met up with Don Diablo a few weeks ago. So besides her own work new collaborations will also be released. The collaboration with Aggros Santo will be released in January.

She also talked about the fact that her toothbrush is green, and answered some questions from the fans. She would love to go to Australia, Brazil and Ireland. She visited Ireland with the Ne-Yo tour and she loved it. At the moment she is back in the Netherlands, spending some time back home. Her favorite track at the moment is the song of Jessie J: ‘Who You Are‘ and her all time favorite artist is Michael Jackson, he truly is the inspiration for all pop artist and for Esmée herself.

She loves watching videos via Top Blip, a youtube clone video site for artist who like to be discovered. She will keep us up-to-date via her twitter, let us know what’s going on, when she is recording and more stuff related to her career. She also plans on doing LiveChats more often.

Esmée met with Don Diablo yesterday to listen to some of his tracks, so maybe their will be a collaboration between Esmée and Don Diablo. You may not know Diablo, but he is a dutch artist, producer and DJ. Good to hear new project right?
