Get excited everyone! Last night Esmée and 17 Cosmetics released their collaboration video “It’s Summer Because We Say So“. 17 Cosmetics collaborate with ‘up and coming bands, to write songs inspired by our make-up. With every new product they will release a new “17 make up song” and Esmée is featured for their new product. You can watch the video below, it’s a really catchy summer song, and it’s so good to finally see and hear new music of Esmée!

I am in the middle of my finals, if everything goes well I will graduate next month and go to University in September. So really exciting but also busy times for me. That’s the major reason why I haven’t updated as much as normal, but I am currently working on a big surprise for the site. We will be bigger and better then ever so be sure to stay tuned! Esmée just tweeted she finished rehearsals for her duet with artist Jeremy Passion. Jeremy was discovered by Youtube as well. Esmée and Jeremy tweet each other sometimes, so we wonder if this means they recorded/wrote a duet together or that Esmée is just joining Jeremy for one of his shows. I guess time will tell!

Esmée did a short Q&A via her official facebook account. She talked about her upcoming album and confirmed we will have new music early next year! Be sure to read all the answers below.

On her music/career:

Esmée also confirmed herself her first single is going to be “City Lights“, she said: “Can’t wait for you guys to hear my first single ‘City Lights’ you are in for a treat“. She recorded the acoustic version of the song today in the studio with Ben Cullum. Be sure to keep an eye on Esmée’s official facebook and twitter page tomorrow to find out when the livechat is held.

If you follow Esmée you might have noticed she and producer Jester are tweeting a bit back and forward after their first meeting in October. Now EsmeeUK pointed one of the tweets and it looks like they are possible working together.

Esmée wrote: “December is almost here see you really soon” and Jester/Patrick Jordan-Patrikios wrote back “look 4ward to work miss“, so we assume they will work together this month for Esmée’s upcoming album “Screaming Out Loud” especially since she recently revealed she will be back in the studio to record more songs for the album. Jester worked with Pixie Lott, JLS, Il Divo and the dutch Leonie Meijer.

You can follow Jester @jester_music. Esmée already confirmed she worked with Ben Cullum, K-Gee, Efexx and Flipz R1. We will update the information page for her second album as soon as possible with more current information on “Screaming Out Loud“.

Update: Jester tweeted Esmée saying they will meet next week. So I guess it’s official they will be working together.

Esmée recently revealed she “got a cut on somebody’s album” and it looks like we now know on who’s album. Lauren Bennett, who is currently signed to Interscope, released a new single called “I Wish” written by Esmée and her (US) manager Billy Mann and produced by David Schuler.

You can listen to the song below, we are not sure Esmée wrote it during her recent trip to New York or during the “Outta Here” era but we are happy someone else picked up one of the song she wrote.

DJ Woody premiered the first remix made by Karl Gordon of “City Lights“, which is probably the first single of Esmée’s upcoming second album “Screaming Out Loud” a few minutes ago and we recorded for the people who missed it. You can listen to the full track below thanks to @EsmeeUpdate
