Yesterday was a big day for the music business in the Netherlands: The Edisons Pop 2010. As you may know Esmée was nominated with her debuut single ‘Outta Here‘ for best songs. Unfortunately she did not win the award but the dutch band Kane did with their single ‘No Surrender‘. But it was a big honour for Esmée to be nominated in the first place! And maybe with her next album right?

Added one photo of Esmée during the event, sadly I didn’t find more photos yet but I hope that will change soon! But luckly for us two videos of Esmée during the event have been released online so I added a bunch of screencaptures in our gallery. Esmée is the dutch ambassador of the “Ronald McDonald” House in Arhnem (nearby her hometown Oosterbeek). About a week ago she visited the home to celebrate the opening of the 100th house around the world (in Sint Louis, US) with the dutch presentor Harm Edens. Some new videos with footage of Esmée during this events have been released online. You can watch them below (in dutch). Screencaptures are coming soon! Also added two new photos of her during the official opening a few months ago of the house in Arhnem.

Esmée had a nice interview with Cosmogirl! to promote the digital release of her debut album ‘Outta Here‘ in the US. She talks about her influences, Justin Timberlake, her debut album and more. Be sure to read the full interview below.

Esmee Denters is probably one of the coolest girls in the world. Growing up in Holland, she loved singing so much that she posted videos on You Tube (yes, just like Justin Bieber)! Her talents caught the eye of none other than Justin Timberlake who signed her almost immediately! She now has the hit song “Love Dealer” that features JT and is releasing her debut album Outta Here this fall. She’s also the face of b.tempt’d's new campaign that features a special promotion: $2 from every bra purchase will go to Susan G. Komen for breast cancer support. Esmee is one busy girl so CG was lucky enough to grab a few minutes of her time so you could get to know her a bit better!

Singing Beginnings: “I have been singing since as long as I can remember, probably since I could open my mouth. Singing is like breathing to me, I don’t know what I would do without it. I have never felt so passionately about anything else. Music makes me feel like I belong.”

Influences: “I listened to a lot of different kinds of music since my dad has always been a music freak. I grew up with a lot of soul music as well as The Beatles and Classical music. As I got older I was infatuated with the Spice Girls and Janet Jackson.”

On Justin Timberlake: “I have always admired his work, so when I realized Justin had seen my video’s and wanted to meet me backstage at one of his shows it felt very surreal. I guess when I was there my drive kind of took over my nerves and I asked him if it was ok to play him a song on the piano in the room. He immediately loved it and signed me a month later.”

Looks like Esmée is back, after spending a few days in Holland, in London again. She had a lovely interview yesterday with Total Acces. It’s a fun and cute interview! Be sure to listen to it below. She talks about shooting her music video ‘Love Dealer‘, Sex and the City, fashion and a lot more. They also aired a shot audio of what Chipmunk has to say about her. It’s really nice!

Esmée is featured in Now Magazine (July 26th) wich is a big celebrity/fashion magazine in the UK. She did an amazing new photoshoot for the issue were she is modeling the latest holiday summer fashion. She looks so stunning and the shoot is really cool. You can watch the scans, first outtake and the behind the scenes image in our gallery. As soon as I get the issue myself I will scan it HQ and the full spread but for now you can watch the scans in MQ.

You can watch two videos of the photoshoot below. The first video is an introduction video and the second video show us behind the scenes footage of the shoot. Looks like she had a lot of fun!
