Today is a special day because today we can celebrate the second year anniversary of Esmée debut album “Outta Here“. Two years ago her album was released in her home country the Netherlands. The physical release had 13 songs, including the bonus track “Sad Symphony” and the Itunes release also had the bonus track “Eyes for You“. Esmée co-wrote 9 songs herself and the album peaked at #5 in the dutch album charts.

Over a week ago there was another second year anniversary, the music video for her debut single “Outta Here” was released on May 13th, 2009 after being released on April 14th.

Congratulations Esmée & Justin Timberlake/Tennman Records Team for the second year anniversary for “Outta Here“. I still listen to the album frequently and I am still not bored with the songs. As you all know Esmée is currently recording her second album. Let’s hope we will hear her first single of her second album in the next few weeks!

We were really excited when we found out yesterday Adlicious was going to perform Esmée’s “Love Dealer” at X-Factor in the Netherlands since they are our favorite! Adlicious is a dutch group of 3 talented people: Laise, Shirley and Jordy. For the UK fans, you may recognize them since they also entered the UK version of X-factor but they didn’t make it to the live shows.

Adlicious performed “Love Dealer” and Justin Timberlake’s “Love, Sex, Magic” in the remix version of Chew Fu (which is still one of our favorite remixes) yesterday and they rocked it. We really love there rendition of it, so be sure to watch their performance below. It’s not the first time someone covered a song of Esmée during a big talent live show. A lot of contestants covered the song “Outta Here” during the auditions of Popstars and Emmily also did her rendition of the song during the 3th live show of 2009 version of Popstars. We have to admit Adlicious is our favorite so far!

Esmée also made an appearance on the previous season of X-Factor in the Netherlands as guest coach.

Esmée is back in New York after spending a few weeks in the Netherlands. She made a guest appereance on “Good Day New York” to promote her debut album “Outta Here” and the B.Tempted Campaign “Get Breast Cancer Outta Here” to support “Fight For Cure” of the Susan G. Don’t forget, Esmée is giving a Free show in Bloomingsdale on 59th in New York today between 2pm until 4pm.

Esmée will be giving a free performance hosted by B.Tempt’d at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street this saturday (October 9th). It starts at 2 until 4pm. Be sure to go if you have the opportunity, it’s most likely she will perform her US debut single ‘Love Dealer‘ and more songs from her debut album ‘Outta Here‘.

This friday she is already in New York and she will be at Fox TV’s Good Day New York around 9:50am to promote the ‘Get Breast Cancer Outta Here‘ of B.Tempted because as you may know she is the face of the brand. Really hope these appereances means lots of new photos!

Yesterday was a big day for the music business in the Netherlands: The Edisons Pop 2010. As you may know Esmée was nominated with her debuut single ‘Outta Here‘ for best songs. Unfortunately she did not win the award but the dutch band Kane did with their single ‘No Surrender‘. But it was a big honour for Esmée to be nominated in the first place! And maybe with her next album right?

But luckly for us two videos of Esmée during the event have been released online so I added a bunch of screencaptures in our gallery.
