Finally some exciting news to update you guys on! Esmée posted a blurry photo of her ipod with the description: “Listening to some of the songs I have been writing on my ipod sounding good!“.
The titles are “All Around The World“, “Pumping On Your Stereo“, “Illusion“, “City Lights“, “Indigo Sky“, “Saturday” and “Runaway“. We already heard the live version of “All Around the World” and it’s most likely it will end up on her upcoming second or even being released as the first single? The other titles sound promising, but since she is still working on her second album and recording in the studio it could be they don’t make it on the album.
Other possible album tracks are “Eye On You I Feel Good“, “I Got That Beat” and “Part Time” we reported earlier. They are all co-written by Esmée herself but it always could happen
song written by other singer/songwriters end up on her album.
Esmée revealed earlier the album is going to have a Rock/Soul pop/Urban /Electronic/ sound. It’s going to show us “growth and maturity“. The album is scheduled to release this summer and the first single this spring but no official date is set so far.

Gelukkig zie ik haar deze week en is er een hoop bij te praten.
Ik was best een beetje trots, want ik hoorde van een vriendin,
dat in Paleis het Loo in Apeldoorn een tentoonstelling is van de
kleding/jurken van prinses Maxima, ze zei tot mijn verbazing
hoor ik daar een nummer van Esmée en ben naar de ruimte gegaan waar het vandaan kwam, er werd ook nog een filmpje gedraaid met het filmpje waar Esmée de Award kreeg
en waar ze als welkom Maxima bloemen aanbied.

Just realized, spring 2011 is until May so the spring single release date is not going to happen. Let’s hope it will be this month!
@Lindsey I really like the titles too! (as I said in the previous post). The single is probably gonna released in July and announcement in June. Can’t wait :)

@Mbase – I was hoping this month, but I do think that’s maybe a bit too soon. Maybe she a July release is right, and they are aiming for a september/october release for the album?
We are celebrating our 4 year anniversary in two weeks (June 22), I have special updates in mind but do you guys have any suggestions? I am planning on finishing the biggest part of the revamped content and some ‘secret’ projects but are there things you guys miss?
I was thinking of starting an active (online) street team since her second album is coming up, but last time I tried there weren’t enough fans but I did notice she has a lot more fans now so I could give it another try.
Great titles, they make me curious. Titles like this and the genres of the album, make me totally excited!

We are with more fans indeed, it seems. But it would be better when a wave of ads for Esmée come from a large bunch of people, also those who are a bit fan. Well, the die-hard fans just do everything for free. The non-fanatic fans will help, but only when there is something interesting to win. You could perhaps make a deal with the promotion team of Esmée to send a cd or something. But that is way too much work for the team and you I think. No, the easy solution would be a small advert for the winner on this website (for example between Friend & Family Network and Languages) for like 2 weeks. So an advert which is the choice of the winner on a well-visited website (esmeefans.org), to be sure I would add some guidelines if I were you (no racism, s*x ads etc). But this could be an interesting opportunity for people to promote their favorite charity, own firm, school or themself :p
So describe how I see this could happen: You write a blog with a task (like for now: make people aware of the upcoming single/album) and what is to gain: the ad (name some numbers of visits per month, place of ad and for how long and such). Also make a standard tweet/facebook-message, for example something like: “Upcoming: Esmée Denters’ second album, looking forward to it! Promoting for esmeefans.org to win ad-space, wanna join? RT and check: [link to blog with task]”
Make it easy for people so they only have to retweet. Then (hopefully) you get two weeks a full ad wave for Esmée, after that you randomly pick a winner and you put the ad of the winner on the website. Followed with a new task (+ standard tweet), then again two weeks of ads, you pick randomly a winner etc etc.
Well, not sure it will be a success, but you could try it. More brilliant ideas upcoming (if I can think of any…)

BTW: For some reason I have a feeling Esmée will performing on X Factor Finals next Friday. I heard she’s coming to The Netherlands this weekend, so I asked myself: Why? She recently had contacts with Adlicious and judge Angela. Could it be possible if she’s gonna perform her new single on the show? Or is that too optimistic? lol
