@Niceguy – Thank you =) I love it too that she is BACK. That’s the way she got most of her fans, so hopefully they will buy her album as well ;) BTW was pretty suprised they released the album online already without any proper promotion … Let’s hope it will come ?!

@Niceguy – Well I hoped that for a long time, still hoping but I feel like we need to do something? It’s so not fair, she deserved better. I really don’t get it, they promote her as ‘first signed artist to Justin Timberlakes label’ and Justin himself doesn’t help promote her at all… I mean she needs to get on Ellen, Oprah, Today Show, Good Morning America etc. All the shows every artist go to when they release an album even when they are well known. I really, really don’t get it.

When you look at Selena Gomez, I think she is the perfect example for an artist who has the same audience as Esmee, she goes to all the big tv stations. I personally think Esmee is way more talented when it comes to music when you compare her to Selena. Don’t get me wrong, I truly adore Selena.

I’ve been thinking about something what Pieter said (wherever he may be). Maybe the first album is a learning period, to see how it all goes. So hopefully they go all out on that second album so she can finally get that well deserved breakthrough. I bloody hope so!!!!

Oh yea, for that 2nd album, they should release her singles worldwide and quicker! No more bullshitting around in one country.

To change the subject: I really hope Esmee will perform during Justin’s Benefit concert Justin Timberlake and friends! Freesol is one of the line ups

The single releases where a mistake. I think they thought it would be better to just release one single per country. But the timespacing between the releases caused a problem: after the European releases of Outta Here, Admit It came quick in the Netherlands… Few months later in the UK (while Outta Here was still in some European charts). After that period the collabs came: Until You Were Gone, Love Dealer, Life Without You… It became a chaos. I think they couldn’t overlook it anymore and are now focussing on the second album.

But i do have a feeling that something is going to happen the following weeks. I mean Love Dealer can be a hit in the US (she’s still in the Hot Dance Club Chart from Billboard)… So like lindsey said: lets be patient! :)

toch raar dat Esmee weer trug is na n week New York, terwijl n week later de album wordt gepresenteerd.
ik denk dat ze zich richt op de UK.omdat ze single opnam met n UK artiest in Noorwegen .
vraag me af wat JONA voor esmee gedaan heeft behalve fotoshoots regelen, hij had n tour kunnen regelen rond deze tijd in de states , nog n kitisch opmerking … waarom zag ik esmee nergen trug tijdens festivals zoals pinkpop, parkpop graspop lowlands ect.

@gerard Zeker! Eens je de naam hebt kom je vanzelf in de charts. Ook al is het liedje slecht.

Volgens mij was Jona voordat Esmee bekend werd geen manager. Dus hij had totaal geen ervaring met tour, promotie etc. Maar Esmee heeft een management in Amerika. Volgens mij zijn die erg belangrijk en ze was toch ontdekt die nu haar Amerikaanse manager is ?

‘Bigger Than The World’ or ‘Gravity’ should be the 4th single, but I think the focus now is the next album.

Lindsey, you’re right, we need to do something! Esmée deserves a BIG promo in the U.S (She didn’t perform ‘Love Dealer ‘ in the UK [on TV] and the song failed in the charts).
Love Dealer is a great song and needs to be HIT. Promotion is the key to success!
