Love Dealer is a great song, and didn’t do well in the UK.
But the single is doing very well in Holland! :)
I think Love Dealer will do well in other European Countries (like Outta Here – Hungary, Estonia, Eslovenia …)

If she only was in england right now doing some radio promo or something, it would help.

I really thought it was headed for the top 10 at least.
Especially because Justin is on it, and it had a lot of hype.
I think they released the song too late after the video.
They really have a bad habit of releasing songs way too late. Also she hasn’t done any big/commercial TV appearances or performances.
I hope they learn some lessons for this campaign, and improve them on the next.

Esmée has lot of potential to be superstar, and they need to market that right and not aimlessly/randomly.

yeah or some tv shows in the Uk would really help. It must be frustrating for Esmee singing her single not doing wel and being at home and not in the Uk for some extra promotion on tv. No wonder this is not going to be an hit no one really knows that her single has been released.

I really think they will do a great promo in the US. Justin is well-known there.

I know right, but what i don’t understand is that Tenmann is connected to Interscope records(One of the biggest labels).
Why in the name of all that’s holly have they let get like this!?…

I wanna know what her management is thinking..
Although to be fair, i think she made the right choice by signing with tennman, cause Justin really believes in her and understands her as an artist cause he’s one as well.

A big label would have dropped her after admit it.
Although they would have also released the album right after the success of “Outta here(Single)”(in the UK) having more chance to be successful.(One of the biggest mistake they’ve made).

But i’m still hopeful and have faith in that everything will work out. :-)

@niceguy It’s a mystery. And yes JT believes in her,but that doesn’t help with sales and promo. But like I said before, we just gotta wait and see what the future brings. I’m not gonna anger myself in their methods. If they wanna screw things up, its their problem!

yeah, and i think esmee signed for 3 albums or something, so she is going to stay for a while at Tenmanrecords.
I do think that this album was really Esmee so i hope that she is going to stay truth to herself and not turn is someone like Lady Gaga or Katy Perry. Cause she did mention that her music style for the new album was going to be totally different.

I really think it’s the budget. You just can’t get artist up and everyone, you just can’t expect that. Esmée does alot of promo in Magazines and stuff. Besides the US is coming! I think they know what they’re doing. Just have faith :)

I think the Album “Outta Here” is learning project for her and TennMann (already produced in 2007!!!). Her next album will her real sound. Every succes from this album is one extra, but not really neccassary for succes.

I suppose the main problem is that everything is new for everyone.: the management, artist ánd label. Matt Morris has the same problem, I suppose. I think the two main mistakes are:
1) The drop of Outta Here without any promotion in the US. Only after like 5 months they started promotion there, but then the song is already old for the radio djs. Same thing is happening with Love Dealer now, althought it had a little bit promo. Maybe they can somehow still make it a hit, but I am not sure.
2) The choice of Admit It as second single.

I suppose they all learn from the past 2 years. They can better continue with the second album. I think two directions will be most successful : a new sound which is still very Esmée and acoustic music. Maybe they should just try two EPs first with those two directions this year or begin 2011, before releasing a second album.
