I agree, the TMF awards now are little dead.
She does have some competition though, Caro emerald for example is very popular right now on radio/tv/her live shows etc.
Esmée hasn´t performed live/or done anything in holland for a while, but the love dealer buzz has been buzzin her name in the a lot of the dutch media. Which is good and far more important.
To be honest, even if she doesn´t win she still has an international music career unlike some the other nominees lol ;)

But it is around November, and I suppose Esmée is much more well known than she was 2009 by then. And as it is the EMA awards, it will probably help that she is European ;) If she gets nominated anyway, which probably depends on the success of Love Dealer and her fourth single.

@niceguy It’s a Behind the scenes shot of Esmée during The Netherlands for Haiti. She wears a lot of makeup because she had to perform on stage for television. ;) I admit it’s a lot of make-up and she doesn’t need it but I guess you need it for television.

It is all about how good is the make up artist and what for make up they use.
If you look at oprah winfrey she wears so much make up if you see her without you wont even know it is oprah.
But oprah doesnt look like a barbie doll.
There are so many light involved in a television show that you need that much make up other wise you look white and verry pale.
