Esmée posted new video vlogs on her official youtube channel (finally!) I really hope she will do this more often, because I love to see some behind the scenes footage of Esmée’s amazing journey. I’m still waiting on a behind the scenes video of “Admit It”. Anyway, be sure to check out the vlogs below.

UK CHARTS !!
ALBUMS: 48. Esmée Denters – Outta Here
SINGLE: 67. Esmée Denters – Outta Here
Admit It isn’t in the top 100
http://uk.launch.yahoo.com/c/uk/album_charts.html
Album #48. Now let it grow in the charts.
With the third single coming up, that will probably be a big hit, the album will hopefully get higher.
@linny
I putted that one up the site a while ago.
But it doesn’t do harm to put it up again :)
I think in February, she will release the third single in holland and belgium, and May in the UK :(
I hate this releases, 5 in 5 months :(
I hope she release the third single soon in UK
I think it´s really cool thet “outta here” re-entered the charts. :)
Too bad “Admit it” didn´t last so long, i think it would have been if esmée did more TV!! on BIG/WELL KNOWN SHOWS and Cd stores signings(Those are always the best way to reach fans in my opnion) :P
But hey on the bright side a video with MR. Justin Timberlake is coming up…not bad lol :P
@Fcb, MrSays, MBase, Niceguy
I voted 20 times on Disney Radio tonight. Any of you who tops me?
http://radio.disney.go.com/speak/request.html
@Repelaer
I’m voting 25 times all days! I’ll vote now !
Nice EsmeeUK! I’ll vote at least 25 times for the rest of the week… :)
just did 30 (a)
It’s pretty much official. Esmée failed in the UK. “Admit it” was a hands down failure. The Album is not even on the radar screen. Who would have thought this? This is despite all her fan’s efforts online to promote her. Well, It’s What to do now. Hope Tennman doesn’t give up on her. It’s been such a long hard battle. Matt Morris is doing really well in the US. Really love her, but it’s just not happening the way I thought aboutt it way back
@2004crf450
I thought Matt Morris isn’t doing really well in the US?
Esmee (#48) entered the charts higher than Keri Hilson (#62). And the end Keri ended up selling a decent amount of albums, so no worries. Of course the record label could have make it themselves much easier if they would have released it last year after the successful Outta Here, like the orginal plan or within 3 months, after the (probably successful) Love Dealer.But they did not. So I just hope that they hurry up with the next single and that the people who bought the album will start telling the other people that they need to buy the album. I am not surprised at all that she did not enter the charts high, because they basically started the promotion on the day the album was released which is too late if you want a decent chart position. We need to see first what will happen after the release of Love Dealer. It is safe to say that Admit It was not a good choice for second single ;)
2004crf450 :
Esmee needs a good song. She needs to ask many people’s opinions if her songs are good commercially before releasing them. I heard that an artist in Sony has to set up a meeting with many Sony presidents in many countries for their opinions. To be honest, I am a bit worry about love dealer. People have heard something like this before in JT’s album. I just hope that MV with JT and JS should help boosting this song to higher position. I am not worried if Tennman will give up on her. If Tennman really does that, there will many labels which will take her in to make music together. Actually, I am a bit curious about her three years stint in Tennman. I heard a rumor that she has recorded nearly 100 songs. So, where are the rest? I believe that there will be more good songs in them, apart from her successful “Outta here”.
Sometimes the road is hard and with some bumps in it.
But don’t give up on TenmanRecords. Of course the lack of promo is unacceptable, but it is still a small record company. The album will certainly grow in the charts. She just needs a smash hit to get her launched and well known. Love Dealer could be the song that does the trick. With or without Jay Sean. Admit It wasn’t indeed a smart choice as a second single, but then again it was only released in The Netherlands and UK. Its like they where testing the song cuz Outta Here did good in these countries. But it failed, maybe because the lack of promotion or maybe because it doesn’t lie the audience. I hope they will promote Love Dealer hard and a nice music video wouldn’t be bad. ;)
Lets just wait what the past months are gonna give.
Peace out.
The lack of promo really is unaccepatable!!! But on the other hand Esmée is just getting started so it´s too early to judge where she´s headed in the future.
I think Esmée will have A LONG career in music, but like fcbforever just sad Tennman Records is still a small record company that´s also just sarting out!
“Admit it” to me is one of the best songs on the record, i really appreciate it more than “Outta here”! :)
“Outta here” is a really cool, fun pop record!
“Admit it” to me is more classy but also fun, i have to admit :P,
When i first heard it i didn´t like it but after a while i loved it!
As far as Esmée´s future: Let´s just wait and see :) <3
*said
Love dealer would change everything its a really goood charts song !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@jamylinn:
I hope so!
Hopefully she will release it within one month (end of februar/ begin of March).

I think Love Dealer is a great choice for the next single, good chance that it will be a worldwide hit I think. Besides that it is a good and catchy single, the very presence of Justin often just causes chart success. And the truth is that Esmée just needs a little push at the moment if they want worldwide success. Love Dealer is a little bit like for example Love Sex and Magic indeed, but I think it is enough different and people are not tired of it yet. I think that the choice for the fourth single is an important one, so I hope they listen to the people, maybe she should do a poll again and just check around on forums and last.fm to see what people like. The reason why I think it is an important one, is because in several countries (probably the US as well) Love Dealer will be the first song that they hear from Esmée. And it should not be the last one as well. There are enough examples of singers who had a peak because they collaborated with another famous singer and after that they choose singles that fail to make impact. Now Esmee has of course also Casanova on her album, which could be a chart success as well (for the same reason as Love Dealer). But you don’t want to become a singer who only has hits when Justin is on the track as well :P So yeah, the fourth is an important one. I think that the single after Love Dealer should be Victim or Outta Here (for countries where is it not released yet). And I think that if Love Dealer is indeed successful (what I really hope, because otherwise we have a bit a problem), then they should move faster than they did last year. People forget quick and it does not help that they wait for about 5 months everytime before releasing the next single. Now I know that The Netherlands is not very important in terms of sales, but the fact is that between the release date of Outta Here and Love Dealer is almost a year. And because Admit It failed to make impact it is a very very long time. So I hope they make wise choices this year and move a bit quicker.
^The song with Chipmunk as fourth single would be great. :)
Maybe also important: the radio isn’t a venue. I can imagine that Admit It became a single because it is a song that people like a lot live. But that does not always make it a great single for the radio as well. I feel this is also the case with Just Can’t Have It, but maybe I am wrong.
@fcbforever
But that was Chipmunk’s single right? Plus it would only have impact in the UK.
@mr
It is indeed Chipmunks single, but he starting to become a big name. And what is a hit in the UK will mostly become a hit on the mainland.
So it isn’t bad Esmée is mentioned.
@fcdforever
No of course not, the UK has a pretty huge music industry so ever success over there is a big plus. So if she can join Chipmunk on a hit, it is only good news. Not sure btw if Chipmunk will be successful on the mainland, there are several UK acts that are only in their only country very successful. Chipmunk so far too.

Also in Brasil they already know that the album isn’t doing really well in the UK.
Hopefully things will change soon!
@mr We can only wait and see. Hope the wait ain’t too long.

@Bente:
Expensive stuff!! :)
@all: Did 35 Radio Disney votes (arg, I hate it), but only because I won’t be able to vote tomorrow.
You are not letting me do all the dirty work by myself huh? ;)
I will vote tomorrow Repelaer!
Allrighty Pieter!
Btw: If we don’t get Esmée into the top 15 (next chart) I probably give up.
Well..there is hope..and we don’t have to give up either..there is a chance that esmee climb the charts..my point is..the debut album from rihanna wasn’t well-known..she only brought 1 or maybe 2 singles out..pon de replay was the only well-known song from her debut album.. it is just a time of waiting..we don’t have to expect that her singles are going to be nr1 hit..she is a new artist..and she has to do by step by step.. and as for me..i’m a loyal fan of more than 3 years now..and i’m so proud of esmee that she reached so far..it doesn’t matter that admit it didn’t make to in the charts..because she got a lot of new songs to show us..probaly lovedealer and chipmunk song..i support esmee 100% and i hope you all do..but i think i don’t have to worry about that XD
@linny: sorry, meant the Radio Disney Chart. :)
About the rest of your comment: you are quite right. Some of us are abit too much dissapointed about Admit It or the album not being huge successes. I would have ofcourse liked it to be smash hits but Esmée will get there in the end. Hopefully she will have a longlasting and steady international carreer and for that, there’s no hurry at all.
@Niceguy: Good to hear that you think Admit It is one of the (or THE) best song on the album. I think so too (UK hit or not)!
You’re all a bit overreacting about it… I mean, ofcourse Outta Here (album) didn’t do well in the first week. Where was the promotion? She only did several shows DURING the week. Besides, Admit It isn’t doing very well, therefore they should release the third single very soon to get Esmée again in the picture (in The Netherlands every music-website is already talking about the third single!).
Matt Morris just did the Ellen show. She is a huge fan of his. The guy is really good. My kinda bluesy, jazzy stuff. He’s sure in the mainstream and getting all of JT’s and Tennman’s attention right now. Not a peep out of them about Esmée.
Just read an article on E! that JLo is guest appearing on Glee this season (one of America’s favorite TV shows). Talk is of Ne Yo also appearing, he already said he’d do it. One of the main characters (Rachel) is a huge fan of JT and she’s pushing hard to get him on, along with MATT MORRIS! What the hell about Esmée!!!!! Jeeez, this lack of support for her is getting old. I hope they do drop her off the label. She could go to another that would treat her the way she should be treated. Justin Beiber sure must be smiling about now.
2004crf450:
That is the way to go in US, Matt Morris, JustinT, ChristinaA, BritneyS, JCchaser. Sound familiar? I think Matt is going to be the prime artist in Tennman right now. It is good for him. Actually, it gives a consolation prize for Esmee that she does not have to take all pressure from people around her anymore.
Actually, I am a bit frustrated with the way Tennman develops Esmee’s career. She should be adviced to improve her physical appearance, strength, stamina, to take singing lesson to improve her singing technique since day one she jointed Tennman. I heard that some labels (not in US) sent scouts to find rising star to be. When they were found, normally at age of 14 or 15, they must train hard (for example, running upstair for 10 floors without using the help of elevator daily). They must practice singing and dancing day in day out. Therefore, the aritsts to be are going to be ready to release something at the age of 17 or 18. I was surprised that Esmee ran out of breath on Jt&friend concert and youtube live. She still ran out of breath during the first period of the supporting act for enrique. That means she was not fit enough to carry the high quality tune through out the whole concert. I believe that she is much better by now. So, if she is going to be on Daivd or Ellen show, she needs to prove that she has got what it needs to be done. The best skill that Esmee has got so far is her acoustic live, when she does not have to move. That is so natural, may be gifted from heaven :). I hope she will do something more about this in the future.
Fact is. Matt Morris is Flying, Esmee is failing. Such a shame.
Hi guy, just one more thing. I think “Admit it” verion 1Xtra bbc radio is the best she has done so far. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_ikvKLJR6w
4:43 onward.
Can anyone extract this part from this intervew and post it on youtube, please?
@2004crf450:
I really don’t see how you can compare Esmée to Matt Morris, promotionwise. You are really negative, while I still am convinced that Esmée will also be put on shows like the Ellen Show or maybe Oprah. If not, then you get to complain.
And about Matt Morris flying: how is he doing in the charts? Did I overlook him? I don’t know about Itunes US, but Amazon.com:
#586 in MP3 Albums
#400 in Albums
I don’t see him in the top albums chart of iTunes either. But that is not a surprise, because he did not had a hit yet and he just started promotion. I wish him much luck, He is already a bit older so if he wants to be successful, it better be soon than later.
About Esmée, a lot can change within the coming few months. Now we are a bit depressed because Admit It was not a success, but who knows maybe we are jumping of happiness within a few months because Love Dealer enters the charts worldwide like crazy. I believe that the song can do the trick. But like I said before, they have to be careful which single will be the fourth single.
WOW reading all of your comments, yeah it is a big dissapointment that Esmee didn’t make it big in the Uk.
But Esmee is sitting at home know doing nothing because they have to schedule the 3th video lovedealer.
Justin is a very busy man so that will take a while i guess like one week or two?
Dont understand why esmee doesnt do any promotion in Germany that is a big country too.
That would be perfect know.
If Esmee has nothing to do at home as you guy has told us, I suggest she should start to learn how to dance properly (maybe from her sister) and do exercise like there is no tomorrow. Hopefully, she will get six-pack very soon. 555555
Esmee only promote in UK and Netherlands. She need promote in more countries: Australia, Europe countries (Germany, Italy, Belgium, France), Canada and U.S (TV).
Outta Here is a great song, if Esmee promote Outta Here in U.S, the song would be a hit, and maybe, get a decent position in Billboard Hot 100.
Esmee will go now, shoot her next video in Los Angeles. I hope she perform in some US TV programs.
I agree with @Jimmy, “I am a bit frustrated with the way Tennman develops Esmee’s career”.
A new artist need promote in many countries in the world (as Pixie Lott).
^That’s true. The Germans are often quite fond of Dutch singers/bands. And if you just speak a bit German, it is even more easy. If there is another big country were Outta Here could quite easily become a hit, it would definitely be Germany imo.
^That was a comment for @tiffany
If you agree that @TennmanRecords needs to promote Esmée more, then tell it to them, we are standing up for Esmée! Fans make the star. /via @OnlineDanny
I hope that there will be some dancing in the Love Dealer video. Esmée is already much better at dancing/performing than when she just started. And with rehearsal..rehearsal..rehearsal..she could become really pretty good at dancing I think. It is in the genes :P
Guess who is on #1 at i-tunes j…n b….r wont say the name cause i dont want that some people get more frustated as they are already lol.
pixie lott album was released in september and is stille in the top 100 uk -itunes.
Tenman records should do the same thing and copy what pixie lott does.
22 countries in 2 months. I guess all of the budgetmoney goes to pett matt morries.lol
@Esmeeuk
I will only start bullying Tennman Records, if they somehow manage to kill the release/promotion of Love Dealer. Now they have to do a really really bad job if they manage to do that, so than they deserve it ;) But for now, they are a new record label so everything will be new for them as well. Btw. The single/album release in the UK is the responsibility of Polydor Records. And they should have know better when they delayed the album release after hit Outta Here. But then they managed to kill Agnes’ UK career as well. Bit the same story as Esmée really, unexpected hit, delaying album (hers is pretty decent), waiting for months for next single, flopping second single. But unlike Esmée, Agnes’ album is still not released. And she has no Justin-backup and other huge hit singles. If they had just released the album after Release Me, just like they should have done after Outta Here, the album would have done fine I think. Poor Agnes :(
iTunes UK Albums: #1 – Justin Bieber
grrrrrr
I hate JUSTIN BIEBER, haha
Be nice to other artists, they are all doing their best :)
Alright, to make the discussion a bit more positive. I hereby predict that Esmée will have a worldwide hit with Love Dealer within 4 months (depends a bit on when and where they start releasing/promoting the single). What do you all hope and/or think? And what should be the fourth single according you?
@Kevin
I’m so excited to see “Outta Here” in Australia and US too :)
Australia is a big country, she need to promote there
I think Love Dealer will be a worldwide hit :) this song is amazing !
To answer my own questions :P
Hope ánd think: Love Dealer as worldwide hit (with or without Jay Sean) within 4 months (or maybe a bit longer, depends a lot on the US release date I think).
Fourth single:
- 1st choice: Victim
- 2nd choice: Bigger Than The World
- And Outta Here as next single in countries were the single is not released yet.
I agree with you: Hope ánd think: Love Dealer as worldwide hit (with or without Jay Sean) within 4 months (or maybe a bit longer, depends a lot on the US release date I think).
Fourth single: I think will be Just Can’t Have it, and I love this song.
1st coice: Just Can’t Have It
2st choice: Bigger Than The World
3st choice: Gravity
Australia = big country, small population. Only 22 million.
Just finish checking out JustinB’s hit song “One time”. I think it is a good song. I can see Miley Cyrus’s face when I listen to this song. :) I think they, Miley and Justin, are perfectly matched competitors. The advantage that JB has got is he is very young and cute. So, he can persuade Teen group to listen to him and support him. That is the norms in Teen oriented business. I think JT should be a bit regrettable not to sign him. If you guys check this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rp_eW4_dc_4
you can see JT and JT has met in Canada when JT was on movie shooting schedule. Many people in youtube urged him to sign JB and make music together. So, the conclusion is Usher has beaten JT for the first round. Let’s see how it will go on, guys. :)
JB creates lots of buzz, but according wikipedia (I bet his fans will keep it up-to-date) none of his four singles reach the top 10 in any countries so far. Maybe the UK will be the first country this week. Good for him :) So JT has still a pretty good chance to win the second round and maybe in the end the game ;)
*country
iTunes UK Albums : #71. Outta Here – Esmée Denters :(
I hope physical sales is going well :)
In the first week, the albums sold, probably 4,200 copies
the album*
Oh another thing, guys. I hope you know a youtube singer called “Dan Talevski”. He has already been signed for some time. During Halloween last year, he made this video,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2TDC4xqALE
So, he can sing and dance. If he starts to release his material and dance like this, he is gonna be huge. That will put tremendous pressure on Esmee. Therefore, it is a forced move for Esmee to learn dancing for her song right now. What I want to see is Esmee can sing and do some dancing with her dancers for her fast R&B tracks, like love dealer, getting over you, admit it, etc., and move graciously on stage without running out of breath. I think her reputation will be much higher if she can handle this task. :)
@Kevin
I agree she needs to start promoting “outta here” in EU more!!
Does anybody know if “outta here”(Single) is/being released in germany!
She tweeted a while ago that she was glad “Outta here” was finally out in germany, did she mean airplay or what???
@mr
Haha i agree i´ll start harrassing Tennman records and @jtimberlake if they screw up the release/promo of “Love dealer”… :P
I´m really disappointed with the lack of promotion!!!!!!
Shouldn´t she be doing some shows/Cd Signings while she´s waiting for the “Love dealer” videoshoot!
I mean she has an ALBUM OUT!!!!
If Esmée was signed to UNIVERSAL or some “big” records company they would promote her like crazy, but if “admit it” failed like it did they would drop her like hot potaitoes :P
I think she´s has a srong foundation for a long music career with Tennman Reacords!, But the promotion is really, really lacking!!!!
I´m wating for a BIG release of “Love dealer” with GOOD and regular promo, if they screw that up, i´ll be P*ssed!! :P
I think if esmee would be at universal her entire album would be different.
I dont think admit it would have been released or even be on the album
I think songs like “for a change” and rescue me would be on it.
Edit: *Potatoes* *Strong foundation* *Tennman Records*
Ps: sorry if this post shows up double, my comments weren´t showing up!!
Tennman Records is an imprint of Interscope Records. And Interscope Records is owned by Universal.
http://radio.disney.go.com/speak/request.html
This is the week that we need to get Outta Here in the top 15, so join the voting!
The most funniest thing is that Esmée sitting here at home in The Netherlands enjoying life. Outta Here came in a lot of European charts and her album entered the UK charts #48! She is famous, can sing and there is a third video coming up. She can perform on events like the Jingle Bell Ball and Rotterdam New Year’s Eve!
It looks like everybody is now pissed about Admit It in the UK, and now everybody is talking that she fails… weird! Besides she and Justin Bieber like eachother, so why should we hate him? He is a Canadian cute little boy, who is also discoverd on YouTube.
Last but not least. The whole Tennman records-thing i kind off agree with you guys. A bit lack of promotion, or not at the right time.
It’s just like the war Britney-fans made up with her label Jive.
We need to get Outta Here in the TOP 10 on Radio Disney !
It’s easy, vote vote vote vote !
Miley Cirrus and Justin Bieber are teen sensations. Nobody will ever hear about them anymore after 10 year.
I think they are working on a long term career for Esmée.
And yes, she needs a big hit soon. Not for Europe but especially to get well known in the US.
you know guys i just dont understand why esmee needed to promote herself in small tv shows in america and matt morris at the ellen show, CBS Early Show’s and david letterman !!!!!!!!!!!! i know he’s promoting his album so i hope when esmee her album comes out in the us sh also can promote it big !!!
Love Dealer need to be a hit !!!!!
I’m really beginning to think Timberlake and Tennman were not such a good choice for Esmée. They’re handling her terribly.
agree @2004crf450 !!!!!!!!!
Guys, its time to let the Admit It affair behind us.
We are too disappointed cuz it failed. Esmée’s career will have ups and downs like any artist. Admit It was a down, but let us now concentrate on hopefully the big up : LOVE DEALER!!!!
I have complete faith that her career will be a success. We must stay positive cuz the negativity is dripping of my screen here when I read you comments. And like some of you mentioned don’t start a war with TenmanRecords yet, only if they ruin the promo of LD, then we should start worrying.
@fcbforever Agree!
Agree too ready for love delaer to be a smash all over the world !!!!!!!!
@fcbforever
Agree, instead of bullying Tennman Records, everyone can better use focus on requesting @ Radio Disney to get the song finally in the top 15 or even better top 10.
Maybe Esmée should change her style to dance, LOL.
Check the worldwide known dutch artist (all of them produce dance music):
- Tiesto
- Armin van Buuren
- 2 Unlimted
- Vengaboys
- LA Style
Just joking of course. :)
Ohhhh I foget DJ Chuckie.
And Sidney Samson. ;)
This song is still used at every single Basketball game in the US:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KUmAphvThQ&feature=related
I actually hope she will do a few tracks with for example Armin van Buuren or Tiesto in the future.
This song together with Armin van Buuren at the TMF Awards was pretty cool.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxBQSP_gGc4
@mr
I know right?! :)
Esmee doesn’t need to change her dance style, she should do whatever feels comfortable for her, and where her talent is.
I just checked out Matt Morris, this guy is gooood! He’s a great singer and seems very comfortable in what he is doing. No teen-pop but a more mature blues/jazzy style.
The only song on Esmee’s album that doesn’t sound like teenager pop is ‘The first thing’ and it is my favorite song from the beginning.
Been following Esmee since her cover of irreplaceable and will keep on doing so, with or without her being a worldwide superstar.
Because I believe in her talent as a vocalist, and hope she’ll be making more songs like ‘The first thing’ in the future.
Peace, Vinnie
About the (lacking of) promotion by Tennman records, maybe they count to much on the ‘YouTube effect’ here.
In this light the new Vevo channel doesn’t work in her favor.
There also have been long periods of Esmee not being active on Youtube, songs not viewable due to country restrictions, (this triggered fans to unsubscribe), and I’m still waiting for the 2nd episode of ‘Around the world with Esmee’! ;)
You have a broad definition of teenage pop ;) , but I know what you mean. Songs like The First Thing and For A Change. I hope she will have the opportunity to do some smaller fun projects in the future, so she can do some little albums with these sort of songs, soul, acoustic, a lullaby album, or whatever. It would be a pity if she does a JT and only releases a big hit album every 5 years, with acting and some features inbetween. With own songwriting and band, a little album does not have to be very expensive, right? But I can not think of any major artist who does this already. Maybe the record labels don’t allow it? Anyway lets first see if she can make it big.
The 2nd episode of ‘Around the world with Esmee’ is sure gonna be a long one ;)
The ‘normal’ people who just like music a lot and who are not massive Esmée fans like us, like the choice of Love Dealer as next single.
For example this US music forum: http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=82160
And seeing these comments, they should consider a re-release of Outta Here if Love Dealer becomes Esmée’s first hit in the US.
No offense, but I’m getting a little tired with the fact that some of us are constantly being incredibly negative about Esmée’s carreer so far. If you don’t have the belief in her carreer or the patience for it to develop to the full max, why not go and be a fan of one of the few people who were worldwide stars within one or two singles? Or even better, start your own record label. ;)
These quotes sum it all up for me:
Miley Cirrus and Justin Bieber are teen sensations. Nobody will ever hear about them anymore after 10 year.
I have complete faith that her career will be a success. We must stay positive cuz the negativity is dripping of my screen here when I read you comments. And like some of you mentioned don’t start a war with TenmanRecords yet, only if they ruin the promo of LD, then we should start worrying.
I think they are working on a long term career for Esmée.
NOW ALL BE NICE AND POSITIVE! :)
About a future fourth single: I am not sure. I like the album in general but I doubt if it will produce another smash hit after Love Dealer.
Maybe Victim or Casanova can do the trick but I am not sure.
Just can’t have it is nice but also not that spectacular (same for What If and Gravity).
What do you think of Getting over You? I am getting quite enthousiastic about the song when I listen to it again. It is a layered song and has a nice chorusline, reminds me of some Janet Jackson songs actually. I can also picture a great videoclip to go with it. And lol, it can also be pimped by a small rapsample of for instance Lil Wayne, TQ or Ludacris. (Go and listen to it right now, headphone on, tell me what you think!)
To be honest, my US single release line-up would be (in this order):
1. Love Dealer
2. Outta Here*
3. Eyes for You
4. Follow my Lead**
5. Admit It
* I really think that if Lovedealer becomes a hit, we should spam Tennman/JT/Esmée everyday for it to be re-released.
**Why not release it again? Not many people know it anyway.
What’s your US top 5?
My US top 5:
1. Lovedealer
2. Outta Here
3. Follow my Lead
4. Getting over you
5. Gravity
zeg fansssss…wel in perspectief zien en nie door n roze bril….
ze is n beginnend artieste met n debut album.
de single outta here is onverwacht n groot succes
(sommige artiesten dromen hier hun hele leven van) ;)
j.t weet wat hij doet, met video “love dealer”‘ en lancering album in vooruitzicht zie ik t rozekleurig in. lol
maar is jona nog haar mannager ?
@gerard:
Voor de laatste vraag is het antwoord “Ja” denk ik.
@Repelaer
I agree!
But “Outta here” doesn´t really need a re-release it´s still growing on radio and hasn´t had any huge promotion at all!!!!
Lady gaga´s “just dance” has the same story, that song took FOREVER!!! to warm up to mainstream pop radio charts!! after it became a huge hit, the door was wide open for gaga :P
They need to focus on “Outta here” more in my opinion before rushing out “love dealer”
Btw i think Outta here(ALBUM) has a lot potential singles!!
I think almost all the songs could be singles, it´s a WELL PRODUCED record and with the right promo almost every song could be a single!!
1. Outta Here(With a proper official release)
2. Love Dealer
3. Bigger than the world
4. Memories Turn To Dust
5. Victim
6. Casanova
7. Admit it
8. Just can´t have it.
9. Gravity
9. Victim
Edit: *10. Victim
@Niceguy: I didn’t really mean re-releasing Outta Here. A proper official release sounds good though. But I think it won’t be bad to plan this AFTER the Lovedealer release.
But come on, ten singles from a debut album is a lot! ;)
What do you guys consider the chances of Eyes for You and Follow My Lead becoming US singles?
@Repelaer
I know, but i meant potential singles :P
Like i said it´s well produced record!
*a
@Repelaer
To be honest i don´t think “eyes for you” would do that well, it´s good music but sadly trashy/simple pop music is what´s in today!
“Follow my lead” is a great song, but it´s nothing fresh! Esmée sounds GOOD on it though!! It would do well on charts though!
*the
Apparentley i´m unable to post comments without grammar errors! :( :P
we kunnen wel afzonderlijk lijstjes maken, ieder hft zijn favoriet.. smaken verschillen nu eenmaal..
n graadmeter is youtube universal..nl.
cassanova 937.000 views
what if 460.000
gravity 444.000
just cant have it 346.000
bigger than the world 308.000 ect.
de minste views heeft love dealer 224.000 !!!!!!
Ik twijfel daarom nog tussen Casanova of Lovedealer. Als je de muziekkenners mag geloven heeft echter Lovedealer meer kans van slagen.
Matt Morris album is now #9 on iTunes USA ! OMG !!
That’s great for Matt and Tennman. He did perform with Justin @ the Ellen show last night. Now that is some promotion ;) , lets see what will happen with Esmée’s next single :D
Matt Morris album in top ten on Itunes in U.S.
http://asitbreaks.tumblr.com/post/343297138/webo-made-itunes-top-10
Ooops didn’t see the post above
When she release Love Dealer in US (soon), Esmée will perform in TV, Ellen, Jimmy, Letterman ! :)
Wow, that didn’t take long. Matt is at #6 now
Well, at least Matt is making some money for the label. Pressure’s on him now.
Just saw Matt on Ellen, boy he is something!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLi8AYbVsYQ
Instant fan here!
And another song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-w21Xxtvyb8
The performance on Ellen with Justin gave him a huge boost. I am glad that they properly promoted his album. If they are smart they add some other big performances soon, before the buzz dies.
Cool remix of Admit It
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxlKtIMQm3k
My US top 5
1. Love Dealer
2. Outta Here
3. Follow My Lead
4. Victim
5. Casanova
But how many singles could be released from the album? Isn’t 5 a lot?
Actually, the US top 5 I gave is not a top 5, but order in which I think the singles should be released. I think 5 singles is the max.
1. Love Dealer
2. Outta Here
3. Follow my Lead
4. Eyes for You
5. Admit It
(I changed the order a little, lol).
they already released “follow my lead ” as a charity single.
@ Tiffany. I know, but why should that be a problem? It attracted little or no attention at all…
@repelaer , that is true , but i think the people who wanted it to have already bought it.
Esmee album is not in the uk album i-tunes anymore.
I think we can be dissapointed about this if we want too.
When “outta here ” was a hit in the UK they should have released the album.
Esmee future in the music business has all to do with making good decision.
I think it is taking freaky long time for a new video or single to come out.
i meant freaking long time “freaky” sounds so funny
They def should move quicker this year. About Follow My Lead, the studio version was not released only the live version. So I don’t see why they can’t release it again if they want to.
I think the album will go down in the UK charts this week. With the release of Love Dealer, it will probably go up again. So I hope they release it as soon as possible in the UK and Netherlands. And it is also about time that they released a new single in the countries where Outta Here was a hit, let that be Love Dealer as well.
My US/International single list:
1) Love Dealer
2) Outta Here (if it was not physical released yet in a country)
3) Victim
4) Bigger Than The World
5) Casanova or Gravity
esmee Single Outta Here is number 30 in the Top lists in Spotify http://grab.by/1R2l !
my top 5 for the US
1. Love Dealer
2.Outta here
3.Victim
4.Gravity
5.casanova
my top 5 for the US
1. Love Dealer
amazing song, will be a hit
2. Outta Here
a re-release :D
3. Just cant have it
love it
4. Follow My Lead
studio version is amazing
5. Admit It
:D
@Jamy Linn, this Spotify list is a couple of months old…

I’m 8-15 years old and female, but sometimes when I get a little crazy: a 6 year old boy or a 42 year old man. :)
I tend to go for Keisha and Samantha a lot, don’t know why.
I’m Mary, Josh or Sophia :) and mostly 10 years old
LOL :P awesome!
“Admit it” version Wax and Herbal T remix is so cool. Apart from her acoustic live version, I think she should get lots of dope while singing along this remix backing track. 5555555
Esmée is gonna do some charity stuff tonight for Haïti. There is a big TV show tonight where they collect money for the earthquake victims.
She is gonna perform together with Waylon and Trijntje Oosterhuis.
oh that is why esmee hasn’t been on twitter the whole day.
Kinda weird Esmee doesn’t mention it on twitter.
@Pieter which channel is ESMEE going to be on?
According sources, it is Esmee, Trijntje, Waylon and a choir with I’ll Be There. It is live on the main tv channels: NED1, RTL4 and SBS6.
@mr, oh thank you for telling, i will defintly watch for Esmee performance.
i believe she’ll sing it beautifully!
so many people died in Haiti… :(
Haha i thought so! Love Esmée for doing that!
Sounds good. Esmee, Trijntje, Waylon and a choir.
‘I’ll be there’ from MJ?
Gonna walk my dog first, then plant myself on the sofa.
Hope they’ll collect a lot of money.
Holland4Haiti !!!!!! gonna watch and donate !!!! Good luck Esmee if you read this
Does anybody know how late?
Now ;)
Ha, thanks ;)
Check it here: http://www.actie555.nl/
Shouldn’t they show the performance at that link???
My mistake, you ain’t gonna see anything at that link, sorry.
It was beautiful. I am sure that someone will upload it soon on YouTube :)
Performance is now in low qualtiy on followesmee.com
The performance was beuatiful!! :)
Here is the performance:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkMQ6_eGfks
What a great performance!!! This is one to remember big time :D
The crying lady in the video did it to me. So beautiful!
Beautifull !!!
Goosebumps

The whole song with Trijntje, Esmée and Waylon. For the foreign viewers. Trijntje (36) is in the Dutch music industry for a long time, she is into pop/jazz and released some albums lately under the jazz label Blue Note Records (NY based). Waylon (29) is signed by Motown. He is into country and worked with Jennings till Jennings’ death.
From The Netherlands: 83 million in 1 day, that will help Haiti for sure. Well done :D
That performance was just amazing. Glad they raised 83 million.
Matt Morris and JT will be on a telethon tomorrow that’s broadcast world wide. Airing from LA, NYC, & London. Wish Esmee could’ve appeared. Really good promotion. Almost every major star will be performing. Make sure you set your DVR. 8:00 pm eastern US time. 3:00 am in Holland.
Somehow it does not surprise me that Matt will be there as well. I guess they finally figured out that new artists need some promotion ;) It is a bit unfortunately for us and Esmée, that they figured it out áfter the (very!) silent launch of Esmée. Hopefully, the promotion will improve after the launch of Love Dealer :)
@mr
Yeah I hope so.
I’m happy for Matt. He has a real interesting story too. The guy is uber talented. I like “Hallelujah’ and ‘Bloodline’ If you get a chance, give them a listen.
Actually, I have followed Matt since he was still recording his materials. I know he is talented and experienced performer. I am glad that he has got an attention he deserves. If anyone wants to know how he looked like when he was young, check out this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_a42cG9XQU
From this video, someone asked him how he felt to perform with Britney. He said after the performance, he knew right away that she was gonna be huge. Maybe after she hit that high notes. 5555 I like the track called “Money”. I had to watch his fingers to figure out how to play guitar in this song. :) OK, get back to Esmee, it was nice performance for this charity show. I am glad that she can hit high note with high quality vibe. Maybe she needs to work out “er” sound like in the word “laughter” a bit more.
esmee, trijntje and waylon singing “ill be there”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDbz3azbJNo
Esmee sad in the dutch Telegraaf that she was really intimidated by Trijntje.
Cause Trijntje has a really big voice like Aretha Franklin.
translated the piece;
Herpakt Eric: “We’re all experienced what best. Esmee Denters was first intimidated by the huge sound of Trijntje Oosterhuis, but she tried again and again. Not least because Trijntje really helped her. The truth is, if you Trijntje night awakens and says “sing” then it looks like she has already rehearsed three days. “
I just read on youtube she messed up with the lyrics esmee sang twice the same piece.
I thought Esmee did great you could tell she was nervous but it is a big show.
@tiffanny
I did read that they changed the lyrics a bit, because the third couplet was not suitable for the occassion. Lyrics:
You and I must make a pact, we must bring salvation back
Where there is love, I’ll be there
I’ll reach out my hand to you, I’ll have faith in all you do
Just call my name and I’ll be there
I’ll be there to comfort you,
Build my world of dreams around you, I’m so glad that I found you
I’ll be there with a love that’s strong
I’ll be your strength, I’ll keep holding on
Let me fill your heart with joy and laughter
Togetherness, well that’s all I’m after
Whenever you need me, I’ll be there
I’ll be there to protect you, with an unselfish love that respects you
Just call my name and I’ll be there
If you should ever find someone new, I know he’d better be good to you
‘Cause if he doesn’t, I’ll be there
Don’t you know, baby, yeah yeah
I’ll be there, I’ll be there, just call my name, I’ll be there
(Just look over your shoulders, honey – oo)
I’ll be there, I’ll be there, whenever you need me, I’ll be there
Don’t you know, baby, yeah yeah
I’ll be there, I’ll be there, just call my name, I’ll be there…
—————
So she did not mess up the lyrics. And I think they all did very well. Trijntje sure has a big video, one of the best singers in The Netherlands and lots of experience. Esmée’s voice is more subtle, though she can hit the hig notes as well. So I think it was a nice combination those three together.
Yeah Esmee does can sing the high notes but she doesnt do it often.
Like her last cover on youtube the christmas song ” o holy night” she always stops at the high notes.
I think that Esmee should belt out more like she did in her old youtube video’s
Cause to be honest she hade some difficulties with the high notes.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkMQ6_eGfks
2.11 trijntje shakes her head like no “not the right lyrics”
Im not new…I just never commented, I noticed alot of hate towards Tennman, and frankly I must say that I think its uncalled for and unfair, and Ill tell you why…(NO HATE TOWARDS ESMEE!!)
But.. the girl has been on Oprah, Justin mentioned her on Ellen, I saw her in blender magazine and lets not forget BILLBOARD, shes been on FOX news, shes been on nickelodeon , MTV my 5, she did a radio tour with ALL THE TOP RADIO STATIONS IN THE US.. she said in a interview she had her videos watched by 100million people, her fanbase is on internet and yet with all this promotion she didnt manage to sell on ITUNES(while the link to buy the album was on video on youtube which was watched by 2 million people, yet nobody bought it…) and let not forget her tour with that boyband all over canada and america, and… lets no go to Europe, england she did ALOT OF PROOTION yal lcan see whateva yall want but, she did radio 1 bbc and all of em, and 3 tours with 3 MAJOR ARTISTS, JUSTIN, ENRIQUE, NE-YO AND SHE EVEN DID N-DUBZ yetttt her album managed to fail and her second single too..outta here did okay, but compared to the money that was spend on promotion alone is uncompareable…
Lets not get started on the rest of erope, with her amound of fans she shouldve sold wayyy more, look at justin bieber he never been op Oprah but the boy sold 900.000 thousand copies of his album!!! way less promotion.. and matt morris, did only Ellen, and is outselling esmee..
SO I START SAYING DONT TAKE FOR GRANTED WHAT JUSTIN DID FOR HER, HE SPEND A LOTTA MONEY ON THIS GIRL, DONT FORGET THAT EVERY SINGLE MARKETING HAPPEND IN 2007/2008/2009 WAS ALSO MONEY INVESTED IN, SO DONT LOOK DOWN ON HIM FOR THE ABLUM, THE BUDGET GETS SMALLER AFTER SO MUCH SPENDING!
NO OTHER ARTIST HAD THIS MUCH PROMOTION AT THE START OF THEIR CARREERS EVERRR… NOT RIHANNA NOT KERI HILSON NOT LADY GAGA!!!
If it costs a fortune to promote Esmee since she’s got signed, just don’t do aimless promotion anymore. Save money for the big event only. Let the songs promote itself. In my opinion, the problems for this album may be the songs are not catchy enough and the single choice may not be quite right in the term of marketing strategy. Maybe it depends on a bit of luck. I think “admit it” should have been a big hit in UK if the backing track had been from Wax amd Herbal T instead of a studio version. For Esmee fans here, keep faith on Esmee. It is still a long way to go. About Esmee performance, of course she is not perfect. There were some good gigs and not good gigs. However, it is comparable to artists who have sold their music well. So, I think this aspect is OK for Esmee. About big events like Ellen, David and so on, I don’t think she should go straight away to do shows there. She should build her reputation until it is high enough so that the organizers can believe it is worth their shows. Matt may be lucky that he has got a special treatment because he was a mouseketeer. Nevertheless, he took it well. So, hat off to him. Actually, there are two more artists in Tennman. I think JT will treat everyone equally. So, everyone has to work hard to be successful. As I said before, JT will jump on the bandwagon only if he envisions things will be going pretty well. About some issues that James mentioned above, sometimes I wish Esmee got signed quietly, built her career out of limelight and became successful unexpectedly. The taste should be much sweeter than now on.
@James
Justin bieber has a lot of tweenie fans! so ofcourse he´s gonna sell! He´s the cute kid, with a nice voice, Girls want to date him etc!
Esmée is more of a real artist rather than a teen senstaion!
I agree she did do a lot of promo in the right places, but the promo was not REGUALR/PROPERLY AIMED!! She went on oprah WAY before her record was released, people forget about it! The Album promo in the uk started DURING the week it was released! It should have been before and i don´t mean a tour with N-dubz…that´s not good enough! I Still don´t understand why she didn´t do any CD STORES SIGNINGS!!!! or a MALL/SHOPPING CENTER TOUR, that´s always good for new artists and sales!!
Now Like a lot poeple on here have said, let drop this issue!!
Esmée has a bright future ahead of her! <3 :) She´s already a star, but she´s about to shine even brighter!!!! :)
Ps: We had already closed this issue, why did you have to bring it up again? Everybody was just down after “Admit it” didn´t do so well in the uk!
PLEASE LET´S MOVE ON, Esmée doesn´t need this bad energy from her fans.
@James
Do you work for tennman?? you sure sound like you do!!…….. :P
He sounds like the guy who sometimes pops up to tell us about how much money it costs etc. and how bad it goes. Same writing style. I am surprised that he did not bring up that his father/himself works in the music industry according his claims (yeah right), so that he knows what he is talking about. New name (again), same story. LOL
