Outta Here now #12! Wow, that’s really good! :) And I think that site is a week chart, cause artists like You Me At Six and Vampire Weekend aren’t in there to (both new releases).

I just went back to listen Esmee’s singing covered songs from her youtube channel. I used to be there nearly everyday during 2007-2008. I think the magic is still there. The songs “Ordinary people”, “Waterfall”, “Weak”, “Long walk” and even her own song “Anything is possible” still sound great for my ears. It is an honor for Esmee that her British fans have given her a strong support and make her album sale nearly top ten on itunes. However, I still believe that if Esmee gets the right song, she will go straight to #1 in no time at all. Maybe she should consider going back to the kind of songs that help propel her fame to the top on youtube. At that time, she sounded great even she had problems with high notes. Right now, she is very professional and can sing high note. Maybe she should make a song like “Ordinary people” which doesn not need high note at all. Ijust hope she will get the right track soon. :)

Outta Here is higher in the iTunes charts than Admit It? Lol that it weird. Oh well, so they still earn money with Outta Here. I wonder how many albums/singles they need to sell before they make profit. How much does it costs to make an album anyway? 3 million dollar or something like that? So then they need to sell like 300.000 albums worldwide? No pressure, Esmée :P haha

I just find it very odd that Justin is all over Twitter and Facebook pushing Matt Morris’s Debut album (dropped in the U.S. about the same day as Esmee’s album in U.K.) and not promoting Esmee at all. I don’t know if he thinks Matt needs more promotion or what. Matt’s had some great gigs; Ellen and Today show. At any rate, Esmee is doing a great job at promoting herself without Justin being up front. I hope the big push will come when she releases something in the States in the near future. She needs some of those good promotion gigs too.

My theory about JT’s promotion : Matt was in Mickey Mouse Club at the same time with Justin_T, Britney_S, Christina_A (The big three in US music industry). It is quite easy to profile the connection between all of them. Apart from that, Matt wrote some songs for JT and CA too. So, with that relation, his connection with Ellen_D and David_L, Matt’s nationality, it is gonna be quite easy to promote him in US. About Esmee’s promotion, I don’t think she personally needs JT help right now, apart from the future music video. She got good response from her home country, Holland, and UK. I think many people in Europe have already known her too. About her big break in US, she needs a song that suits US market. I guess JT is waiting for a good response from the mass. If there is a sign that thing might be going well, he will jump onto the bandwagon and take Esmee with him to the greatest extent. :)

JT will jump onto the bandwagon anyway when Lovedealer will be released and when Outta Here (album?) will be released in the US.

I think that if Love Dealer is a hit in Europe. it will be the second single in the US. If that it going well (decent chart position in the US) then they will release the album. Maybe Justin will mention later this week on Twitter that Esmée’s album is released in the UK (he did the same thing with Outta Here and Admit It). Just the fact that Justin is in Esmée’s next music video will make the promotion for that single much easier.

Esmée is already for days in the ITunes top 20 chart with her album, so I wonder @ which position she will enter the album charts. iTunes indicates often a higher position than the reality. I think that many UK people buy their albums @ HMV, so it will mainly depend on the sales in the HMV shops I guess. I think she will enter the chart in the top 40 or top 30. I hope that it will create enough buzz and that she will go up in the album charts the coming weeks/months. In the end the success of the album will depend on how many albums were sold.

Is the album chart of the UK also released on Sunday?

So now EBBA is done as well. I wonder when she will go to LA for the music video. I hope soon, because I can’t hardly wait for the next single. It is about time as well, the release of Admit It is looooong ago in The Netherlands. I hope that things will go a bit faster this year (also for 2004crf450, who is waiting to hear her on his radio). So I hope she rushes to LA soon, makes an a-ma-zing video with Justin (and Jay?), heads back to Holland to start promotion for (probably) Love Dealer. We probably have to wait some weeks for the release of the music video. Then it ‘geht’s loss’ and via Holland, Belgium, UK the single can spread to the US. If it reach the Billboard charts and gets a decent peak position, conquering the rest of the world will be much easier. Wishful thinking, but we can hope it will become reality :)

I’ve just finished watching Esmee performance in Malta (MTV) around July last year. That was nice. However, Esmee seemed to run out of breath sometimes. So, we know her weakness right now. That was stamina. I am glad that she visits a gym more often nowadays. That should help her improving her performance on stage when she has to move a lot. By the way, I have an ideal for her, actually. We all know that she can do really good acoustic performance. I think Esmee should make all of the songs in her album in acoustic version. With the present musicians, there will be acoustic guitar, acoustic bass (hopefully, her bassist will buy one) and box ( I don’t know how it is called). She will post this version onto her youtube channel to let her fans knows how her real voice should be. If there are lots of interest (high hit number), she should hire a pianist for more musical vibe and record them and put them on sale on itunes. I think she might earn some good money from that. Right now, we have heard “outta here”, “admit it”, “eye for you”, “Just can’t have it” in acoustic version. Let’s hope we will hear some more. :)

Chill, the sales in the first week are not that important. It is much more important how many albums she will sell in 2010 in total. They started with the promotion this week, so you can not expect a high entry. We can just hope that enough people bought it and they will tell other that it is a great album. To compare Keri Hilson (also debut artist) released her album around the time that she had a hit with Knock Me Down, she entered the charts at #62 and she went slowly up to #22 weeks after the release. So I think that Esmée will have a same sort of entry (hopefully a bit higher) and that she will really go up in the chart when Love Dealer gets airplay.

Yeah, and if the rumors are true that Love Dealer will be released in the UK in March, then the radio airplay will start somewhere in February and the album can lift on the success of the single (hopefully). She say that they will record the music video this month (they were still scheduling everything), so that is within 2 weeks. And then she will probably go back to The Netherlands to start promotion of the new single. And then…we will see what will happen. I think and hope it will do well.

Outta Here needs radio airplay in the US. We just need to keep on requesting like crazy @ Radio Disney to get more airplay. It works there, so it seems the only option at the moment. If other radio stations still refuse to pick the single up, then they can better move on to Love Dealer and re-release Outta Here later this year in the US.
