alot of people didnt expect that A girl from youtube sings a cover on youtube get Signed by a POPStar appear on the oprah show!!! Few years later her own album !!!! and look now so proud and its just the begin of her carriere.

Yeah, me too. But iTunes is the largest shop these days I think. It is almost certain that she will at least get in th UK charts soon. Hopefully she will get even more airplay then. I think she is still not on the BBC Radio 1 playlist yet, only in the evenings. If she gets on that playlist she will be a big hit.

@ she has many fans around the states and with the tour shes gonna do the states she will be even more famous

Just came back from vacation. Was in London yesterday and I hoped to find Esmee’s music in one of the shops but didn’t remember the exact UK release date so I had to think of esmeefans.org..it remembered me how well informed it is on here and what I might have missed while I was on vacation.

@irfan, the single has been on US Itunes for months. Radio stations have the single, but I haven’t heard it played at least on my local stations. I think the official release was when she toured the major stations last month. She needs to tour and perform here before she takes off.

I’ve definitly noticed that esmee is notg etting as many vriews as she did got before… also as someone else stated I dont really see her taking off in the US.. im in La.. en I never hear her music.. plus its been on itunes forever…no downloads.. and she doesnt have an specific release date in the states (..they are pushing back perhaps?) we’ll have to see about UK.. because doesnt necesarilly have to mean that because she’s at #5 with outta here that it’ll be A SMAHS hit on the actual charts.. we’ll have to see how sales will go for the coming wks.. besides.. belgium is NOT going too well either, lets face it out of all the promotion (and the costs she has to cover promoting the only country she did ”well” is in her home country) other than that nothing specific, its not waiting on how the UK will go.. DONT START ATTACKING ME…BUT I’VE BEEN IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY FOR 15 YRS NOW…

Also, before ppl start jugding.. yes she’s on #14 in New Zealand.. trust me there are only like 5000 ppl, that live there, honestly there is NO MONEY in NZ.. she also dropped a bit on the itunes chart there so I’m expecting it to drop there aswell..she reached her peak there.. so basically she kind of failed in belgium/NZ .. Im really curious abou the UK>.. epseciallt cause she did 3 TOURS THERE especially the ne-yo one was to promote even more in the UK.. do any of you even know HOW MUCH MONEY U HAVE TO PAY TO BE IN OPENING ACT… well guess what its not FREE.. and they did 2 tours obvisoult because they are wishing +hoping that it will go well out there.. to kinda cover the cotst…(and we arent even speaking about trvaleing costs and promotion costs) so lets not get ”too” excided yet.. the facts aren’t in yet…. also the reason they are rushing the 2nd single is because outta is no longer hot in her home country.. and neither in belgium and NZ.. and believe me the second single will not have the same promotions as the first… we’ll get tired of her ”same ‘ol youtube story” YET AGAIN I’VE BEEN IN MUSIC FOR 15 YRS.. I saw the live performance of Esmee,but i was shocked when i heard the last song outta here.
She playbacked the bridge of the song.
Seriously dont understand why she did that.
I have so much respect for her singing always live and now this happens.
At 14:16 of the youtube video you can view it.
You hear a computer version of Esmee cause it is not even from the recorded version. They just changed it because people would think that she would sing it live.
But a lot of people saw it on youtube and talked about it not really clever if you have close-up shot while your lip synching.
I thought the whole showcase was alright, a lot of times she was out of breath and a lot of songs hade background vocals that where not live.
Didnt understand that either because she had background singers.

dont like it that esmee get so many bad reviews,i think she was really nervous and it was her first show with lots of big shots in the audience.. and also a band with she hasnt rehearsed much with.

Let’s see what the real press says, not the negative, tweenie loving, jaded Disney actor/come singer fans with little music experience to offer. I also see very little breathing problems. She’s taking artistic liberties in a lot of places that can be misconstrued as being out of breath. I thought it was a great performance.

Haha some of these reactions here make me laugh out loud!!! Experience, yeah right!! She is a noobie for god sake. She is new in this business, she only sings professional for 1 year now maybe? Look at all the big stars in the US, they all started very young like Britney and Justin. And listen to Britney live, she is very bad live… Esmee is so much better live.
