A news update for you today! First of all Esmee is #24 with “Outta Here” at the European Billboard Charts and the is the biggest jump of the week. Congratulations Esmee! Let’s hope her second single “Admit It” will be a big hit to. You can watch the full chart list over here. Billboard posted a short article on Esmee with a nice quote of Ken Komisar, president of Tennman Records:
Denters rapidly gained a following through a series of low-tech YouTube videos that showed the artist covering songs from Beyonce, Natalie Imbruglia and others. In the past nine months, her videos have received 21 million views.
“Esmee is a remarkable talent with a story that anyone with a dream can relate to — it is no wonder she has such an enthusiastic following already,” Tenman president Ken Komisar says.

Esmee is currently back in the Netherlands were she is preparing for the promotion of her second single “Admit it”. The music video will be released September 4th, 2009. I’m looking forward the her next music video, I can’t wait to see it.

zelden haalt n artiest nog de status goud i.v.m illegale download. (85 %)
wat stelt de top40 of top100 dan nog voor, verklaart ook dat artiesten van niets op 1 kunnen binnenkomen.
het is de begin voor esmee ze heeft nog vele jaaren en daar komt zeker een gouden plaat uit haha

Britt, one of Esmee’s dancers, lets us know on twitter that she is packing for Amsterdam.
Are there any big performances coming up here in the Netherlands that I don’t know of? I know Esmee will perform at Hotel 538 for Radio 538, but I would expect that to be a stripped down, private performance, just for prize-winners.
Anyone has an idea??

Esmee will perform @ SLAM!FM Beachbreak on 5 september. But I don’t think they would flew in the dancers (and band?) for only one show. So maybe she will do some other events too? She will be in the US around 15 september.

Esmee got more airplay last week, but it is still quite a miracle that she got in the UK top 10. Proof that the internet is powerful :D
